AETM 2005 Annual Conference

2005 Conference at the University of Western Australia on November 23rd to 25th.


This year the AETM is looking forward to holding its 5th annual conference at the University of Western Australia. This University is steeped in history and soon will celebrate it’s One hundredth anniversary.

Towards 100 years of excellence and achievement 1911 – 2011

About the Venue

The AETM will hold its conference in the newly built Conference centre named, The University Club of Western Australia.

This new complex with modern up to date conference rooms, fully equipped Lecture theatre and restaurants will be the perfect location for another successful AETM Conference. Situated just eight minutes drive from the Perth CBD on the banks of the Swan River, the new University Club is located on campus at The University of Western Australia.

Breathtaking views of Matilda Bay and the Perth city skyline make the Club the perfect place to relax or entertain in style.

The University of Western Australia will be the perfect location for all delegates to experience what WA has to offer and give all an opportunity to see what another fellow university is developing for its AV technologies in providing the best in Multimedia Teaching systems for its staff and students.

This Years Conference will host 44 Audio Visual Systems Managers from All Universities in Australia and New Zealand, these Key people manage the design, installation, purchasing and operations of all Video Conference and Audio Visual systems in their respective universities, spending approx 28 Million dollars annually on up grading and new systems, along with providing an enormous wealth of knowledge and experience.

About the Conference

This gathering of University Technology Managers will definitely provide the platform for a wide range of discussions and topics from, the direction of teaching technologies, looking at new developments and devices for future installations, methods for improving the lecturing environment for students and lecturers and closer supportive relationships between universities and their teaching technologies.

As usual there will be a myriad of new products and devices being presented by Sponsors of the conference, along with valued presentations from many AETM delegates passing on their experiences and ideas to all.
