The AETM Vision is for leaders in Australian and New Zealand Universities, TAFE Colleges, Australian Government Departments and Industry recognise both the AETM and its members as an important source of strategic advice on the use of Educational Technology in Higher Education and TAFE Colleges.
Mission
The AETM Mission is to enhance its members' ability as key strategic advisers on the use of Educational Technology in Higher Education and TAFE Colleges. It will achieve this through a variety of relevant strategies:
- Assisting members to develop professional skills and accreditation.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with key members of University and TAFE sectors.
- Providing mutual support mechanisms to members.
- Encouraging the development and application of standards, benchmarking, best practice and policies.
- Sharing expertise among members.
