About Us
The AETM (Association of Educational Technology Managers) was established in 2001 to provide a forum for all Australian and New Zealand Educational Technology Managers/Directors, who work in educational institutions with the responsibility of designing, purchasing, installing and operating the educational technology systems such as: audio visual, video conferencing, E learning, streaming and podcasting technologies. Most members are from universities. TAFE college members are encouraged to join.
The association provides a discussion environment through a listserv, where any manager/director can contact all or one of their fellow members and discuss any common issues that relate to educational technology in universities. The facility to raise questions about operational systems that may already be in use by another universities and TAFE colleges and receive feed back and performance reports is very valuable.
